Mr Sean Lafleur

Sean is the founder and president of FlowerChange, a network of international business leaders, entrepreneurs, and coaches. 

Sean brings his experience as a turnaround and transformation-leading CEO to his practice as a consultant, mentor and executive coach.  His purpose is to help people and organizations flourish. He has also completed more than $500M€ of financing and M&A transactions.

Sean’s 30 years of media and technology leadership experience includes being CEO for the turnaround of MakeMusic, a world leader in software for musicians, and co-leading a NASDAQ/Paris Internet IPO. He joined Google as a director in 2010 to build up its business and technology operations across EMEA. He supported senior leaders for nine years as Google grew from 3000 to 13000 employees in the region. He was Director of Sales Operations and Strategy EMEA, Director of Sub-Saharan Africa and became People Development Director EMEA in 2014, focusing on executive coaching and organizational development.  He is known for helping people and organizations build trust, flourish and get results.  His board-level experience in both public and private companies allows him to advise and coach on human and governance questions that are central at times of transformation.

As a coach and consultant, Sean is a seasoned practitioner.  He coaches CEOs, senior executives and their teams, facilitates large-scale interventions and is an expert facilitator at EVH, a humanistic leadership association. He is an Ashridge accredited supervisor and executive coach (EMCC Senior Practitioner).  He began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company in Toronto after writing on science and technology for The Economist.  He founded the FlowerChange network in 2019. Since 2022 he has been co-president of the think and do tank, Happymorphose.

Born in Montreal, living in Paris, Sean is married, father of two young adults and is a passionate guitarist-composer, squash and tennis player. He leads and supports systems innovation to create and sustain inclusive experiences for people with autism.
